Phil Brown resides in a quaint little town nestled in the mountains of eastern Oregon. He and his beautiful wife, Gail of 48 years gave birth to and raised 19 of their own children. The children collectively describe their upbringing as one filled with the magic of their father’s original songs and stories. He played the guitar while they fell asleep listening to his tales of adventure set to music.
Phil instilled a love for books in his children at a young age.
His life speaks volumes regarding the wisdom and ethics of hard work and integrity. Over the span of many years, he functioned as the Director of the Good Shepherd Academy; a private Christian school, owned and operated a dairy with his family, was the founder and director of Advanced Systems Research; a company that developed a no-moving-part windmill, and retired as an engineer.
His children greatly value the lessons he represents in the way he has lived his life.
His family proudly talks about other areas of his life that include the many musical instruments he plays, books and stories he has authored, the master garden that appears in his greenhouse before spring every year and continues throughout the following seasons, the way he lives true to the values he subscribes to, and the single most important thought that we can all become absolutely whatever we set our hearts to.
Belief, hard work and the idea that magic is the WAY we live our lives are the happy thoughts his children want to share with the world. Their dream is to see his adventures, stories, poems, and songs spread among his 35 grandchildren (and counting), as well as the rest of the world.
